Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nMEP Engineer\nDubai, UAE\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented MEP Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to independently perform all aspects of field engineering assignments including development of plans, schedules, contracts, procedures, and construction methods and systems for an assigned project, or a designated area of a large project.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nPerforms difficult and very complex field engineering assignments involving the development, execution, supervision, and coordination of all technical aspects of a construction project.\nMaintains first-level quality assurance to confirm that the installation of all work within his/her discipline is in accordance with the plans, specifications, and industry standards.\nSupervises the construction engineering work and provide technical expertise for one or more of the construction engineering disciplines, as well as survey personnel.\nSupervises Construction Inspectors, ensuring that tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented in accordance with approved procedures.\nMonitors and coordinates all contractors' activities for assigned area.\nCollaborates with construction management to eliminate any hazards associated with the work that may adversely affect the environment or the safety or health of employees.\nEstablishes and maintains liaison with the discipline design engineering staff.\nReviews and interprets discipline design drawings and specifications to ensure current revision level and correct technical execution of the work.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor's Degree in engineering or construction-related field, or equivalent construction-related work experience.\n8+ years of experience in field construction.\nRequires a comprehensive knowledge of engineering and construction-related processes, as well as industry practices.\nExcellent written and oral communication skills.\nFamiliarity with CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering and construction.\nProven ability for performing in a lead capacity on a project.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nExperience in the construction of large civil/structural and/or industrial projects at domestic and/or foreign locations is preferred.\nWillingness to relocate to construction site locations.\nProvides resolution for technical engineering problems within the assigned discipline(s); coordinates application of solutions.\nInterfaces with the client and upper-level management.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
