This role is ideal for someone looking to use your business development savvy and operations management skills to implement strategies for business growth and performance!\nThe ideal location for this position is our Cincinnati, OH office, but HYBRID and REMOTE options may be available for the right candidate.\nThe key responsibilities for this role can be summarized in the following:\nProject Management:\nManage scope, schedule, and budget of highway projects.\n\nDevelop scope and fee and negotiate new contracts.\n\nClient management and change order management.\n\nIdentify staffing requirements.\n\nOperations Responsibilities:\nWork with other Project Managers, technical managers, and the Regional Manager to appropriately assign engineering staff for project delivery and pursuit success.\n\nCollaborate with other managers within the Region to plan, implement, and execute regional goals, projects, and pursuits.\n\nIdentify and support the implementation of technology initiatives applicable to the advancement of the transportation practice.\n\nLead the transportation team in Cincinnati and grow headcount by recruiting and retaining top talent.\n\nTechnical Responsibilities:\nProvide technical guidance and quality oversight for projects and pursuits.\n\nSeek opportunities to make presentations and write articles to earn a reputation as an industry leader and promote Parsons as the gold standard in the industry.\n\nEngage and serve in leadership positions within professional organizations to stay abreast of local industry news and raise the profile of Parsons.\n\nBusiness Development Responsibilities:\nSupport BD efforts in the region, including target planning and teaming development in collaboration with the BD staff and under the direction of the Regional Manager.\n\nServe as a Capture Manager and Project Manager for key pursuits.\n\nAttend regularly scheduled key client meetings and maintain current knowledge of project pipelines for key clients.\n\nParticipate in writing/editing proposals, pricing, and pricing reviews of proposals.\n\nLead proposal and proposal review efforts and communicate relevant client news with Operations and Business Development teams.\n\nKey Qualifications:\n4-year degree in Civil Engineering or related technical/business field.\n\n15+ years of managing diverse infrastructure projects with a track record of successful project delivery on Ohio projects.\n\nDemonstrable experience meeting operational business goals and strategizing on market development, including P&L ownership and the ability to meet or exceed sales, operating profit & margin, and DSO targets.\n\nAbility to foster collaboration across multiple market sectors and business lines, including Rail, Aviation, Industrial, and Federal Solutions groups.\n\nExperience leading and participating in business development activities.\n\nLicensed Professional Engineer in Ohio, with considerable experience in the Ohio Market\n\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nNoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
