In this role you will get to work on water or wastewater capital projects in Southern Nevada.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nServe as the Owner's Representative for assigned capital projects, acting as the primary liaison between the Owner, design consultants, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders\nManage and oversee design consultants throughout project planning and design phases\nLead design deliverable review processes coordinating multidisciplinary reviews and ensuring consultant submissions meet quality, technical, operational, and regulatory requirements\nReview consultant invoices and payment applications\nMonitor and valuate consultant design schedules\nReview and analyze project cash flow forecasts to ensure expenditures align with project schedules\nPlan, facilitate, and oversee project design meetings\nTrack and manage project action items, decisions, and commitments\nCoordinate permit application and approval processes\nPrepare consultant procurement documents, including scopes of work, request for proposals, request for qualifications\nSupport consultant selection processes by participating in proposal evaluations, interviews, negotiations, and contract development activities\nManage project scope, budget, schedule, and risk throughout the design phase\nCoordinate with utility operations, maintenance, engineering, environmental, and regulatory personnel\nFacilitate project delivery readiness and transition to construction\nMake staffing assignments in accordance with project needs\nProvide technical guidance and oversight to Project Engineers\nMonitor assigned Project Engineers for completed assignments to ensure that they meet required schedules, quality standards, and procedures\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field\nRegistration as a Professional Engineer (PE), preferably in the state of Nevada\n10+ years of experience managing the planning and design of public infrastructure projects\nExperience as an Owner's Representative\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nExperience with municipal water and wastewater agencies\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nNoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
