Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nPlanning Engineer (Infrastructure)\nAbu Dhabi, UAE\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Planning Engineer (Infrastructure) to join our team! In this role you will lead planning, scheduling, progress control, and time-related assessments for infrastructure projects, ensuring robust programme delivery and clear reporting.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nReview contractor baseline and updated programmes and support the Engineer’s consent in line with contract conditions and Parsons practices.\n\nValidate resource and schedule feasibility to support timely completion.\n\nDevelop and maintain integrated master schedules across multiple packages and interfaces.\n\nAnalyze progress updates to identify delays/slippage and critical events; recommend mitigation and recovery actions.\n\nPerform “what-if” and schedule impact analysis for changes/variations and potential events.\n\nPrepare regular progress reports/monthly programme analysis and presentations against key milestones.\n\nSupport claims/EOT assessments using delay analysis methods (e.g., time impact analysis and window analysis), including concurrent delay where applicable.\n\nLead/attend planning and progress meetings, prepare minutes, and maintain trackers/logs and contemporaneous records.\n\nAgree the progress measurement system (PMS) and KPIs with contractors/consultants for monitoring.\n\nIssue delay/slow-performance notices when required and support responses to contractor notices using programme data and contractual provisions.\n\nWhat Required Skills You’ll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.\n\nMinimum 8years planning/scheduling experience on infrastructure projects (stormwater, roads, sewerage, utilities).\n\nStrong experience in Primavera P6 and Power BI.\n\nDMT practicing engineer license (mandatory).\n\nUAE equivalency certificate (mandatory).\n\nStrong written and verbal English communication and reporting skills.\n\nWhat Desired Skills You’ll Bring:\nStrong knowledge of industry practices and regulations.\n\nStrong coordination skills and sound judgement in a fast-paced project environment.\n\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
