Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nPlanning Engineer (Infrastructure)\nAbu Dhabi, UAE\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Planning Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. In this role you will lead planning, scheduling, progress control, and time-related / EOT Claims to support delivery of major infrastructure works.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nReview contractor baseline and updated programmes and support the Engineer’s consent in line with contract conditions and Parsons practices.\nValidate resource/schedule feasibility and develop integrated master schedules across multiple packages and interfaces.\nAnalyze progress updates to identify delays/slippage and critical events; recommend mitigation/corrective actions.\nPerform “what-if” and schedule impact analysis for changes/variations and potential events.\nPrepare progress reports/monthly programme analysis, dashboards, and milestone presentations.\nSupport claims/EOT assessments using delay analysis methods (e.g., time impact and window analysis), including concurrent delay where applicable.\nCoordinate planning issues with contractors and stakeholders; attend meetings, prepare minutes, and maintain trackers/logs and contemporaneous records.\nAgree progress measurement system (PMS) and KPIs for monitoring and issue schedule performance notices where required.\nWhat Required Skills You’ll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering.\nMinimum 10 years experience in planning, scheduling, and claims on infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, landscape).\nStrong understanding of construction sequencing, interfaces, and coordination requirements.\nProficiency in scheduling software, particularly Primavera P6.\nWhat Desired Skills You’ll Bring:\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.Thorough knowledge of industry best practices and relevant regulations.\nProficiency in Power Bi reporting and dashboard will be an advantage.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
