Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nPlanning Engineer (UAE National)\nAbu Dhabi , UAE\nParsons is looking for a highly talented Planning Engineer UAE National- (Site) to join our team in the UAE! In this role, you will support our Stormwater DMT Technical Advisory Program, working on various projects to enhance stormwater networks, pumping stations, outfalls, and the overall resilience of infrastructure.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nProject Controls / Planning & Scheduling\nAssist in developing, updating, and maintaining project schedules for stormwater advisory assignments using approved scheduling tools.\nSupport the preparation of schedule status reports, progress updates, and staffing/resource curves.\nHelp identify schedule variances and potential risks, and support senior staff in developing recovery or mitigation actions.\nCoordinate with engineering and project management teams to collect schedule-related data and ensure accuracy of inputs.\nCost Engineering Support\nAssist in preparing and updating cost control systems and basic cost reports under the guidance of senior project controls staff.\nPerform arithmetic and consistency checks on cost reporting documentation and other project controls deliverables.\nPrepare graphs, diagrams, and exhibits to support internal reporting and presentations.\nGeneral Project Controls\nSupport the implementation of project controls procedures and templates in alignment with Parsons and client requirements.\nMaintain organized records of schedules, reports, and project controls documentation.\nPerform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical ), Construction Management, or a closely related field; or equivalent practical experience.\nTypically 0-1 years of related work experience in project controls, planning/scheduling, or construction/infrastructure projects.\n Fresh graduate are welcome to apply.\nExperience in the UAE infrastructure sector (stormwater, water, wastewater, or municipal services) is an advantage but not mandatory.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nBasic engineering knowledge in civil or a related field; understanding of infrastructure or water/stormwater projects is a plus.\nFamiliarity with planning and project controls concepts (e.g., schedules, progress measurement, basic cost reporting).\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); exposure to scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6 or MS Project) is an advantage.\nStrong analytical and numerical skills; attention to detail in checking and compiling data.\nGood communication skills in English; Arabic\nAbility to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and in a structured PMO/PMC environment.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
