Job Description:\nParsons is looking for an exceptionally talented Planning Engineer/Scheduler to join our site-based construction supervision team on the prestigious Green Riyadh Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting project progress, ensuring effective coordination between project stakeholders and timely delivery of project objectives.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nDevelop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for construction supervision activities.\nEstablish project baselines and monitor progress against approved schedules, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.\nReview contractors' baseline schedules, recovery plans, and progress updates to ensure compliance with project requirements.\nPerform critical path analysis, schedule health checks, and what-if scenario assessments to support decision-making.\nAnalyze project progress, milestones, delays, and potential risks, providing recommendations for mitigation and recovery strategies.\nCoordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and client representatives to ensure alignment of project schedules and activities.\nPrepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, look-ahead schedules, and executive summaries for project leadership and the client.\nMonitor key project performance indicators (KPIs) and support forecasting of project completion dates.\nEvaluate extension of time (EOT) submissions, delay analyses, and time impact assessments.\nSupport change management processes by assessing schedule impacts arising from variations and scope changes.\nFacilitate progress review meetings and provide planning expertise throughout all phases of project execution.\nMentor junior planners and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, tools, templates, and reporting processes.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.\nMinimum 7-10 years of planning and scheduling experience on large-scale infrastructure, landscaping, urban development, or construction projects.\nStrong proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.\nSolid understanding of CPM scheduling, baseline management, progress measurement, forecasting, and variance analysis.\nExperience reviewing and monitoring contractor schedules within a construction supervision environment.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environment.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nExperience working on major infrastructure, landscape, urban regeneration, or public realm projects.\nProfessional certifications such as PMP, PMI-SP, AACE PSP, or equivalent.\nKnowledge of schedule risk analysis and planning best practices.\nFamiliarity with delay analysis, extension of time evaluations, and claims management.\nExperience with reporting and dashboard tools such as Power BI.\nUnderstanding of Saudi Arabian project delivery requirements and working with government clients is preferred.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
