Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented PMIS Implementation Manager to join our team!\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nResponsible for the implementation, configuration, and administration of PMWeb to meet client needs and our project requirements.\nThe responsibilities listed below in detail are spread across various implementation and roll out phases for PMWeb and the candidate must lead and deliver them independently.\nBe a PMIS Evangelist on the program, conduct workshops and produce presentations and ensure PMWeb is fully recognised and accepted by the Program leadership and the Client executive leadership team ‘THE’ PMIS on the program and ensure that it is NOT reduced to a mere reporting tool or an expensive alternative to an excel sheet to support Program reporting in PowerBi or be replaced by an alternative technology proposal.\nLead PMWeb implementation with a Process automation approach on the program, own the PMIS landscape and your PMIS delivery team of experts shouldering the implementation responsibility of the following products: PMWeb, Microsoft SSRS and Power BI to meet the needs of the program. Also, address special integration scenarios as and when they arise with P6 EPPM, and client ERP /third party solutions on the program.\nResponsibilities during the PMO Set Up Phase- Process consulting:\nResponsibilities during the Requirement Phase:\nLead requirement elicitation workshops in line with PMPs written by the program management SMEs mobilised on the Program team. Clearly articulate through requirement documents the details for processes such as forms, workflow, RACI, reports and dashboards as agreed between SMEs and Client counterparts captured in PMP documents on the programs.\nSet up information-gathering sessions through well planned and structured workshops with various stakeholders (both internal and external) to isolate requirements for designs in a requirement document signed off by Program SMEs and Client PMIS counterparts. Continue to revisit this document when new requirements are made by the client or Program SMEs.\nEnsure the PMIS system is in line with the PMPs written by function leads and SMEs on the Program, highlight any deviations to the program leadership team and seek the implementation of corrective actions.\nLead workshops with the IT team to set up the PMIS instance and ensure compliance to client IT policies.\nResponsibilities during the Design Phase:\nResponsible for architecting solutions in PMWeb through careful analysis of requirements, responsible for designing and building solutions on PMWeb to meet the needs of the program.\nDesign various modules for Commercials, Risk, Quality, HSE, and document control in PMWeb.\nDesign Transactional reports in PMWeb; be proficient with writing SQL queries. For complex report requirements a Microsoft SSRS expert will be appointed as additional PMIS resource to support this task.\nMust have experience in managing client system integration scenarios with PMWeb PMIS; the candidate must have the ability to clearly articulate integration requirements and help design a solution with the Corporate PMIS integration specialist in addressing PMIS integration scenarios with client systems such as ERP or any specialist technology platforms used by the clients, must possess awareness of APIs, functional testing tools like POSTMAN / Soap UI for project manging the delivery of integration programs.\nSupport the PMIS - Microsoft SSRS and reporting specialist to Implement Dashboard / report designs in Power Bi as received from the program reporting manager based on the data model built by PMIS technical specialist from PMIS datasets in SSRS database or take complete ownership to build dashboard visuals and build data models in PowerBi layer to enable data analysis in Power BI for our Program management team.\nResponsibilities during UAT Phase:\nCandidate must possess experience in structuring and conducting UAT workshops on the designs to be launched in PMWeb.\nPrepare UAT test scripts for each Process under every module designed in PMWeb for the Program.\nMust possess the ability to secure UAT sign offs from Program teams SMEs during UAT workshops and secure sign offs from Client PMIS counterparts after UAT workshops.\nResponsibilities during Roll out and administration phase (Adoption & Support phase):\nCreate User guides for the users on the program.\nConduct user training for Program users and assign key program SMEs responsible for modules training.\nSet up Ticketing systems within PMWeb to address user queries during support phase post roll out.\nAbility to configure workflows with correct user groups and assign program users to projects on PMWeb platform. Leverage the support module for any changes to user assignments to workflows after the first roll out.\nManage major changes to process under modules or report overhauling through a demand management process.\nManage Day-to-day software support operation with other PMIS technical specialist.\nManage any system related support activities with PMWeb technical team.\nResponsibilities during the Documentation of PMWeb Implementation:\nDuring implementation of PMWeb on the program Prepare functional documentation such as requirement documents, design documents, UAT scripts and User guides to deliver training programs to the program user team. Secure sign offs on\nCoordinate and review solution documentation of designs with key stakeholders like program SMEs and Client PMIS counterpart or Client IT team.\nResponsibilities handling Demand Management post implementation:\nEstablish a demand management approach to any new changes from Program SMEs and Client PMIS counterparts.\nEnsure a well-documented approach to existing implementation document sets when new Client/ Program SME requirements have major impacts on exiting designs requiring major overhauls to Process designs, report designs and dashboard designs.\nCommunicate this change with a revised baseline for system delivery and weekly progress reports\nProject management Responsibilities:\nOwn the implementation baseline schedule and actively work on re-baselining the implementation schedules when the PMIS project are faced with new requirements.\nProduce weekly progress reports on the PMIS implementation project and ensure the Program management team of the PMIS implementation status.\nEnforce our Parsons implementation methodology on PMIS implementation projects and produce related documents in line with our implementation methodology.\nManage stakeholder relations with our clients, program leadership team and SME / lead staff on the program; also ensure weekly and monthly touch points with the corporate PMIS consulting practice.\nResponsibilities after the current Implementation Project:\nAfter successful delivery of this PMWeb implementation project, the candidate will be offered new projects to be deployed on and continue as PMIS Functional Lead and Expert,\nCandidate must demonstrate willingness and flexibility in learning new technologies, Parsons PMIS practice adopts a technology agnostic approach on its implementation projects for its clients and applies various other PMIS technologies on client implementation projects.\nMust possess the ability to apply your functional skills earned on previous market popular PMIS platforms like Oracle Unifier to new PMIS platforms like PMWeb; ACC to engineer solutions and lead PMIS implementation projects on new client projects secured by parsons.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Application, IT or from relevant engineering field from an accredited University/ Institute.\nMinimum 10-15 years of relevant work experience independently implementing PMWeb projects; handling stakeholders through requirement gathering, design, adoption and roll out phase for PMIS.\nYou must possess strong client facing abilities to independently handle development of processes and reports in PMWeb.\nYou must possess good Project management skills; project reporting skills to ensure delivery of PMIS is on time on this project.\nYou must possess strong work ethics to see PMWeb implementation through to standup and launch PMWeb on the program independently; mere PMWeb administration experience post implementation OR Designing PMWeb as an offshore resource for an IT consulting firm where requirements are gathered by other Onshore resources will NOT suffice.\nYou must have experience implementing PMWeb for a PMO and PMC type situation independently and preferably demonstrate proficiency in Query-Based Report writing in PMWeb using SQL.\nProfessional level written and verbal communication skills in English. Arabic speaker is an advantage but not over the above-mentioned skills.\nMust demonstrate experience in client-facing roles handling clients and delivering projects; offshore experience does not count.\nKnowledge of project management and construction management environments is must.
