Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nPrincipal Engineer - Dry utilities\nAbu Dhabi, UAE\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Principal Engineer - Dry utilities to join our team!\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nIndependently carry out designs of Electrical Power distribution systems and prepare electrical HV and LV Designs, lighting designs for community developments, tunnels, car park structures and other infrastructure development projects.\n\nPrepare Earthing Design as per IEC/ IEEE Standards.\n\nPrepare Power cable sizing calculations using industry software.\n\nHands on experience in the detailed design of pump stations and treatment plants.\n\nCarry out electrical Load Flow Study Short Circuit analysis and Earthing design using industry standard software.\n\nPrepare Electrical design for MV/LV/FOC/ELV systems of Tunnels and under passes.\n\nDesign Fire alarm and Life safety systems and shall be conversant with NFPA as well as Local Civil Defense Regulations.\n\nProvide input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and associate Engineers working on the same project.\n\nPreparation of detailed technical, commercial and Life Cycle Cost Analysis of various technical alternatives.\n\nSuggest Value engineering to optimize design without compromising the techno-functional requirements. Prepareand deliver detailed technical reports and presentations for the Clients.\n\nWhat Required Skills You’ll Bring:\nBachlor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline from an accredited University.\n\nMinimum of 12+ years of experience in Electrical design and construction field of large infrastructure projects like Electrical systems, road lighting projects, Falcon eye, Telecom network and Electrical works related with Roads and Bridges.\n\nSoftware: PSS Sincal, REVIT, Navisworks and ETAP.\n\nMust have knowledge of TAQA requirements.\n\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
