Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Director to join our team! \nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nLead and coordinate the delivery of all construction packages and their interfaces across the Initiative. \nExperience working on road upgrade projects including large structures such as bridges and underpasses.\nMonitor contractor performance, progress, productivity, milestones, and recovery actions against the approved programme. \nEnsure that construction works are delivered in accordance with approved designs, specifications, permits, NoCs, and authority requirements. \nDirect the management of project risks, issues, opportunities, changes, variations, claims, and commercial impacts. \nOversee the implementation of health, safety, environmental, quality, inspection, audit, and non-conformance processes.\nCoordinate utilities, traffic management, stakeholder, authority, and maintained-asset interfaces to minimise disruption to road users and local businesses. \nProvide regular Initiative-level reporting covering progress, delays, performance trends, payments, variations, risks, incidents, inspections, and disputes. \nLead testing, commissioning, asset readiness, handover, and post-handover closeout activities.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field from a recognized university. \n17+ years of experience on related projects.\nExperience with Abu Dhabi standards, DMT/ADM/ITC requirements, NoC processes, authority approvals, and utility coordination.\nProven leadership experience in managing major road, infrastructure, utilities, or civil engineering construction programmes.\nStrong knowledge of programme controls, construction management, cost management, risk management, change control, and contract administration.\nDemonstrable experience coordinating contractors, supervision consultants, government authorities, utility providers, and multiple project stakeholders.\nSound understanding of health and safety requirements, including OSHAD-related regulations and construction industry practices. \nAbility to lead collaborative, high-performing teams and make timely decisions on complex programme, technical, commercial, and delivery matters. \n What Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nExperience delivering complex urban road, highway, interchange, bridge, utility, public realm, or traffic management projects.\nKnowledge of Earned Value Management, cost forecasting, payment certification, variations, claims, provisional sums, and final accounts. \nExperience with testing and commissioning, BIM, asset information, operational readiness, and structured handover into maintenance. \nExperience applying collaborative enterprise-delivery principles, continuous improvement, value engineering, constructability reviews, and best-practice knowledge sharing.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.\nWe truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
