In this role, you will work closely with the Project Controls Director and management, engineering, procurement, construction, commercial, contracts, finance, and client representatives to assess the impact of changes and support informed project decision-making.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nProject Controls Management\nEstablish and implement project controls procedures, systems, tools, and reporting requirements.\nDevelop and maintain the project control baseline, including scope, schedule, cost, resources, and key performance indicators.\nOversee the preparation and maintenance of the integrated master schedule.\nEnsure that project budgets, commitments, actual costs, forecasts, and cash flows are accurately maintained.\nMonitor project performance against approved cost and schedule baselines.\nReview schedule updates, progress reports, cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.\nEnsure timely identification of trends, deviations, risks, and opportunities.\nCoordinate the preparation of monthly project performance reports and executive dashboards.\nEnsure consistent reporting across project teams, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.\nLead the development of recovery plans for projects experiencing cost, schedule, or performance issues.\nSupport earned value management, productivity analysis, resource planning, and performance measurement activities.\nEnsure project control data is accurate, complete, traceable, and suitable for management decision-making.\nChange Management\nEstablish and administer the project change management and change control process.\nManage the identification, registration, assessment, approval, implementation, and closeout of project changes.\nMaintain the project change register, trend register, potential change log, and associated records.\nReview change requests, change notices, variation orders, field instructions, design changes, claims, and contract amendments.\nEnsure that all proposed changes are assessed for their impact on:ScopeCostScheduleResourcesProcurementContractsEngineeringConstructionQualityRiskSafety and regulatory requirements\nCoordinate the preparation of cost estimates and schedule impact assessments for proposed changes.\nReview contractor and subcontractor change submissions for entitlement, accuracy, completeness, and supporting documentation.\nEnsure that changes are properly authorized before implementation.\nLead change control meetings and provide recommendations to project leadership and clients.\nEnsure approved changes are incorporated into project budgets, forecasts, schedules, progress measurement systems, and contractual records.\nMonitor the status of pending, approved, rejected, implemented, and closed changes.\nSupport the evaluation of claims, extensions of time, compensation events, and disputed changes.\nIdentify trends and potential changes at an early stage to minimize cost and schedule impacts.\nEnsure that changes are fully documented and audit-ready.\nTeam and Stakeholder Management\nProvide leadership, guidance, coaching, and performance management to the project controls and change management team.\nDefine roles, responsibilities, deliverables, and performance expectations.\nCoordinate with project managers, engineering managers, construction managers, procurement, contracts, commercial, finance, and client representatives.\nPromote consistent project controls and change management practices across the organization.\nFacilitate workshops, review meetings, risk sessions, and change control boards.\nCommunicate project performance, risks, trends, and change impacts clearly to senior management.\nSupport contract negotiations and commercial discussions by providing reliable project controls information.\nDevelop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.\nGovernance and Continuous Improvement\nEnsure compliance with company policies, project procedures, contractual requirements, and applicable standards.\nEstablish effective document control and audit trails for project controls and change management activities.\nSupport internal, client, and external audits.\nIdentify opportunities to improve project controls processes, reporting systems, data quality, and change management workflows.\nImplement lessons learned and best practices across projects.\nSupport project closeout by ensuring that final costs, schedules, approved changes, claims, and contractual records are complete and accurate.\nRequired Qualifications\nRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.\n20 years of experience in project controls, cost control, planning, contract administration, change management, or project management.\nExperience in engineering, procurement, and construction projects, preferably in construction, infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.\nUnderstanding of project change control, cost management, schedule management, and contract administration principles.\nAbility to interpret project drawings, specifications, schedules, contracts, estimates, and technical documents.\nStrong analytical, organizational, documentation, and communication skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nExperience in using project controls or document management systems.\n\nPreferred QualificationsProfessional certification such as PMP, AACE, PSP, CCP, MRICS, or equivalent.\nKnowledge of earned value management principles.\nExperience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Oracle Unifier, EcoSys, SAP, Procore, or similar project management systems.\nExperience with contract forms such as FIDIC, NEC, EPC, EPCM, or design-build agreements.\nKnowledge of cost forecasting, progress measurement, schedule analysis, and risk management.\nExperience preparing time impact analyses and extension-of-time assessments.\nExperience working with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and client organizations.\n\nTechnical SkillsChange registers and change control
