Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nProject Engineer\nAbu Dhabi, UAE\nParsons is looking for an experienced Project Engineer (Buildings) to join our Project Management Construction(PMC) team! In this role, you will manage daily site operations related to Buildings construction, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nOversee all construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.\nCoordinate with the design and construction teams to ensure smooth execution of the works.\nMonitor work progress, identifying potential delays or issues and taking corrective actions to ensure the project remains on track.\nConduct site inspections, ensuring that the works are completed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with the approved design.\nEnsure proper documentation of all works, including progress reports, safety reports, and quality control checks.\nManage site safety, ensuring that all workers adhere to safety protocols and minimize risks associated with the works.\nLiaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services required for the works.\nAssist with testing and commissioning, ensuring that the works meet the necessary quality and functionality standards before handover.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or relevant degree from an accredited university.\nMinimum of 8+ years of experience in Construction Supervision, with at least 5 years in a site engineering role for Building projects.\nStrong understanding of design and construction standards, codes, and regulations.\nProficient in MS Office and project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).\nFluent in Arabic and English with excellent communication skills.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nProactive problem-solving abilities and ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.\nFamiliarity with international design and construction standards and local codes, particularly in the Middle East or GCC.\nPreferably having local UAE/Abu Dhabi experience.\nKnowledge of AutoCAD and other engineering design software.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to review and check designs for accuracy and compliance.\nAbility to work under pressure and handle multiple projects at the same time.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
