Can you motivate yourself, and others, to think on your feet, use your imagination, and go the extra mile to exceed client expectations?\nParsons seeks a Senior Project Manager to support our client’s Design and Engineering (D&E) office. This individual will support a wide range of planning, programming and Federal funding efforts as well as the master planning, initiating and concept design phases of the project life cycle. The successful candidate will be able to assist in analysis of technical issues, development of independent Government estimates, review of project documents and plans, development and analysis of facility requirements, development of white papers, development of pros and cons with defendable recommendations, and review of project schedules. The selected individual will provide expertise in engineering, performance, and risk assessment relating to construction program management activities, assisting the client in the overall planning, creation, execution, documentation, integration, and oversight of facility delivery activities.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nWorking full time within a D&E office with the client with no telework options.\nIndependently completing the review of highly complex, unique designs and systems. \nComfortably serving as a senior-level consultant within area of expertise with client leadership.\nCreating enhanced solutions to meet client and/or regulatory requirements and actively seeking improvements to work processes.\nPossessing the ability to effectively communicate various topics to diverse audiences in written and oral.\nBeing able to create graphic presentations that distill complex issues into definable solutions and discrete decision points.\nUnderstanding design and construction plans, reports, requests for information, product submittals and schedules.\nManaging and de-conflicting multiple concurrently competing priorities. \nKeeping abreast of industry changes related to area of expertise.\nParticipating in one or more professional organizations.\nAs needed, providing technical guidance to others in the production of products or services to ensure that they meet established project/contract requirements.\nProviding monthly status reports and clearly communicating program successes and issues to reflect performance as compared to the program's baseline and performance standards.\nRepresenting the program and the client in interactions with a variety of stakeholders and being comfortable engaging with the public, government Senior Executive Service (SES), military leadership and elected officials, as required.\nPerforming other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.\nQualifications:\nActive TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance required.\nMust be a US Citizen\nBA/BS level degree (or equivalent years’ experience)\n20+ years of technical expertise\nFull-time position, based in Annapolis Junction, MD. \n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
