Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nProject Manager Assistant\nQatar\nParsons is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing infrastructure and engineering projects. You will help ensure that project objectives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This position requires solid organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nAssisting the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities to support timely delivery.\nMonitoring project progress and preparing regular status updates and reports for management and stakeholders.\nSupporting the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.\nCoordinating with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain alignment with project objectives.\nAssisting in the preparation of project documentation, including reports, presentations, correspondence, and meeting minutes.\nHelping identify project risks, issues, and challenges, and supporting the Project Manager in developing mitigation and resolution actions.\nSupporting the implementation of company policies, procedures, health and safety requirements, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.\nReviewing and tracking project deliverables to help ensure they meet client requirements and contractual obligations.\nAssisting in the management of contracts, procurement activities, and vendor/consultant coordination.\nConducting or supporting site visits to monitor progress, observe risks, and check adherence to project plans and specifications.\nPerforming other related duties as assigned to support the successful execution of projects.\nWhat Required Skills You’ll Bring\nDegree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.\n15 years of experience in project management or a closely related role, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sector.\nExperience working on infrastructure projects such as roads, drainage, utilities, and other civil works.\nGood understanding of project management principles, tools, and methodologies.\nProficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6 or MS Project) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).\nStrong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.\nGood written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills to support the resolution of project challenges and risks.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.\nMME certification in Qatar.\nWhat Desired Skills You’ll Bring\nFamiliarity with Qatar/GCC regulations, standards, and permitting processes.\nKnowledge of basic contract management and procurement processes.\nProject management certification (e.g., CAPM or PMP) is an advantage.\nPrevious experience working in the Middle East or GCC region is a plus.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
