Job Description:\nParsons is actively seeking experienced and driven Project Managers to join our PG&E Infrastructure division, supporting one of California’s most recognized and essential utility clients. In these roles, you will lead project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and overall commercial performance, playing a critical part in the successful delivery of high-visibility work tied to long-term infrastructure investment.\nThe ideal candidate offers deep experience managing projects across the full lifecycle, from initial planning and design through execution and closeout. Candidates are required to be located within 60 miles of these locations - any business travel expenses incurred will be reimbursed, including mileage.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and forecasting to ensure successful project delivery.\nLead scope development and scope management activities in alignment with project objectives.\nTrack and follow up on project-related instructions, commitments, and action items to ensure accountability and progress.\nSupport client objectives by developing a strong understanding of contract terms, program requirements, and corporate policies.\nOversee the development and implementation of key project documents, including:Project Execution Plan\nHealth and Safety Plan\nQuality Assurance/Quality Control Plan\nOther required project documentation\n\nEnsure compliance with program and project milestones.\nPrepare and distribute concise project summaries for team alignment and reference.\nDirect and manage all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of assigned projects.\nParticipate in field activities as needed, including job walks and safety hazard analyses.\nCoordinate with profit center and department managers to define qualifications and staffing requirements for key project roles.\nPartner with office facilities staff to address project space and operational needs.\nWork closely with managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and execution plans.\nIdentify potential cost overruns, schedule delays, or scope changes and collaborate with project stakeholders to develop and implement corrective action plans.\nMonitor project performance and provide regular updates to management on progress, milestones, risks, and issues that may impact cost or schedule.\nMay participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and attend public meetings in support of client initiatives.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, or a related technical or business field.\nMinimum of 12 years of relevant engineering management experience, preferably on large-scale programs.\nDemonstrated success managing complex infrastructure projects through all phases of delivery.\nStrong knowledge of project controls, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and risk management.\nExcellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, flexible, and collaborative team environment.\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nNoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
