Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nProject Manager - MEP\n Abu Dhabi, UAE\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Manager - MEP to join our dynamic team! In this role you will be given an opportunity to work across key projects in Abu Dhabi, leading design consultants and contractors.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nDirects the overall planning of design and construction activities to identify critical milestones and priorities. \nDetermines budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule. \nEnsures that the services of subcontractors and major construction equipment required by the project will be available at the appropriate time to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity. \nEstablishes assignments for construction superintendents for various work areas of construction operations, monitoring progress and recommending corrective action as necessary. \nConducts performance evaluations and recommends promotions and salary actions. \nManages the assignment of manpower, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency, maintain schedules, and to meet budget goals. \nKeeps alert to possible problem areas and takes preventative action to ensure that critical milestones are met for each phase of the project. \nEnsures the use of sound construction practices to attain required quality control at the maximum efficiency and minimum cost. \nPrepares periodic reports summarizing progress of construction activities for higher level management and clients, including formal presentations. \nEnsures effective implementation of all company and client policies and procedures, including labor relations policies. \nServes as the primary contact with client representatives, subcontractors, and government representatives for construction related activities. \nMaintains strong client and community relations. \nPerforms other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. \nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor's degree from an accredited institution in mechanical engineering or a relevant field of engineering.\nMinimum 15 years of experience in large scale building construction projects.\nRequires extensive knowledge of construction related processes, as well as a thorough knowledge of industry practices.\nDemonstrated effective managerial capability, as well as strong written and oral communications skills.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nExperience in the construction of large civil/structural and/or industrial projects in GCC is preferred.\nAirports experience will be a plus.\nExcellent organizational skills.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
