In this role you will get to lead and manage small to medium-sized projects, ensuring successful delivery on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual, quality, and safety requirements.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nDirect, supervise, and control all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative aspects of assigned projects.\nDevelop project goals, execution strategies, budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and management plans.\nManage project scope, cost, schedule, profitability, quality, and contractual obligations.\nForecast monthly revenue, labor costs, other direct costs, and gross profit throughout the project lifecycle.\nOversee project invoicing, billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable activities.\nEstablish and maintain the Project Management Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other required project documentation.\nMonitor project deliverables to ensure compliance with client requirements, contract terms, and established quality standards.\nAssign responsibilities to project team members based on their qualifications, experience, and strengths.\nMonitor, negotiate, and manage changes to the project scope with clients, subcontractors, and subconsultants.\nMaintain accurate and timely change orders and advise management and clients of significant project changes.\nDevelop corrective action plans to address potential cost overruns, schedule delays, and scope changes.\nMonitor project progress, key milestones, costs, schedules, risks, and conditions affecting project performance.\nServe as the Company representative with clients, subcontractors, subconsultants, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.\nEstablish and lead weekly project status meetings, track action items, and communicate project updates.\nMaintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional work and business development.\nParticipate in proposals, client meetings, presentations, marketing events, conferences, and professional organizations.\nSupport employee performance management, recognition, career development, staffing, and training activities.\nCollaborate with managers, project engineers, discipline leads, and facilities staff to support project execution.\nPerform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical or business field.\nMinimum of 10 years of related project management experience.\nBroad technical and business background with experience managing complex projects.\nAbility to meet Parsons’ project management certification requirements.\nDemonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, scope, contracts, and profitability.\nEffective leadership and team management skills.\nExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.\nThorough knowledge of industry practices, standards, regulations, and project controls.\nKnowledge of current project management technologies and their effective application.\nExperience managing client relationships, subcontractors, subconsultants, and government agencies.\nAbility to identify, evaluate, and resolve project risks, cost issues, schedule delays, and scope changes.\nProfessional registration may be required.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nExperience managing projects with a total installed cost of up to $50 million.\nProfessional Engineer license or other relevant professional registration.\nParsons project management certification or equivalent certification.\nStrong commercial, financial, forecasting, invoicing, and change management experience.\nExperience developing and implementing project management, safety, quality, and execution plans.\nProven ability to secure additional work and support business development initiatives.\nExperience working with regulatory agencies and participating in public meetings.\nStrong negotiation, problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.\nExperience developing career plans, coordinating training, and managing employee performance.\nActive participation in professional organizations, conferences, technical presentations, and industry networking events.\nAbility to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, senior leadership, clients, and external stakeholders.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
