In this role you will get to supervise team members working on the project(s), providing clear guidance regarding the technical responsibilities, schedule, budget and quality.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nAbility to communicate effectively, orally and in writing to project team and Parsons’ clients. Experience in preparing correspondence, written reports, presentations, and proposals.\nOversees establishment of Project Management Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.\nEstablishes the project requirements for all areas of the project and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.\nAssigns responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths.\nWorks with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project.\nWorks with the key project individual to devise and execute actions plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work; advises the client and company management of changes.\nPromotes technical and commercial excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processes.\nMonitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule.\nWhat Required Skills You’ll Bring\nProven experience in the design/construction of civil engineering projects (water, wastewater, utilities)\nExcellent written and oral communications skills\nThorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations\nKnowledge of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on projects\nBachelor's Degree Engineering or related technical/business field\n10+ years of related work experience and professional registration\nWhat Desired Skills You’ll Bring\nExperience with water and wastewater treatment process design and modeling\nDeep understanding of process mechanical design including pump sizing, hydraulics, piping, surge analysis and hydraulic modeling.\nExperienced in AutoCAD 202o and REVIT (3D BIM) Design Software\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nNoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
