Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nPublic Relations Officer\nQatar\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Public Relations Officer to join our team! In this role you will get to coordinate between internal and external stakeholders for a specific project.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nThe Public Relations Officer is responsible in dealing, handling and resolving conflicts, feedback, complaints from the public and residents pertaining to the construction projects inconvenience.\nOpen dialogue with the public, residents, municipalities, MOI, traffic police, government department and embassies etc. on public relation issues as directed on project related.\nTranslating required documents/emails, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained.\nHandling correspondence from the client and site teams\nLiaising with technical staff to discuss any unclear points.\nProofreading and editing final translated versions.\nProviding clients with a grammatical, well-expressed final version of the translated text, usually as a word-processed document.\nDemonstrated experience in Public Relations works dealing with public complaint in a construction industry would be an advantage.\nDealing, handling and resolving conflicts, feedbacks, complaints from the public and residents pertaining to the construction projects inconvenience.\nConduct regular visits and ad hoc visits to the affected residents affected by the works and make necessary report, feedback to the clients and the affected resident.\nCoordinate and work closely with the construction supervision team to minimize inconvenience to the public.\nMust have a good understanding of Qatari culture.\nPerforms other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nDegree with minimum of 4 years of demonstrable overall experience in the public relation and communication works with no less than 3 years in works focus on public customer service.\nDemonstrated proficiency in keyboard skills, as well as a working knowledge of MS Windows and related word processing, spreadsheet, and database software, is required. \nMust be fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken, with good capability in oral and written communication skills.\nComputer skills and the ability to utilize design software are mandatory.\nAbility to work under stressful condition to handle public complaints.\nExperience working in Qatar is required.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nResourceful, pleasant and approachable personality.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
