Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nQuantity Surveyor\nAbu Dhabi, UAE\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Quantity Surveyor to join our team! In this role you will undertake commercial and quantity surveying activities for major infrastructure works, supporting accurate measurement, payments, variations, and claims while coordinating closely with project stakeholders.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nMeasure and verify quantities, maintain quantity/cost records, and support commercial reporting.\nReview contractor payment applications and support preparation of interim payment certificates.\nEvaluate unit rates for new items, manage dayworks records, and support cost control activities.\nPrepare, assess, and administer variations, claims, and change orders; support entitlement evaluation and recommendations.\nCoordinate with project teams and contractors on commercial matters and maintain robust documentation for final account close-out.\nSupport negotiation and preparation of claim/variation settlements and assist with final account preparation.\nWhat Required Skills You’ll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering or related discipline.\nMinimum 8 years experience in quantity surveying and contract administration, preferably on major infrastructure projects, including marine and roads.\nStrong knowledge of contractual/commercial processes, measurement, payment certification, variations and claims.\nStrong computer literacy and reporting/documentation skills; strong communication and stakeholder management capability.\nWhat Desired Skills You’ll Bring:\nRelevant professional certification (e.g., RICS) or other commercial/QS certifications.\nExperience working in a construction supervision/PMC environment in Abu Dhabi or the UAE.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
