Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Resident Construction Engineer - Architect to join our team! In this role you will be res ponsible for managing both administrative and site-based construction monitoring activities, while providing technical oversight to ensure the project is delivered in accordance with the approved design, budget, schedule, quality standards, safety requirements, and contractual obligations.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nMonitor multiple contracts and the associated architectural field activities of construction contractors to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, including scope of work, procedures, cost, schedule, installation, and quality.\n\nOversee architectural elements such as: - Building facades and envelope systems - Interior finishes and fit-outs - Architectural detailing and aesthetics - Accessibility and code compliance - Coordination of architectural elements with structural, MEP, and landscape systems\n\nImplement and adhere to the QA/QC Program, safety regulations, and specifications during work activities.\n\nProvide guidance to contractors regarding schedule, procedures, scope of work, and other information requirements.\n\nPlan, organize, monitor, and follow up on contractors’ activities. Supervise the contractor’s work to ensure that site operations are effectively executed, and that all required inspections are properly conducted and documented.\n\nDevelop a close working relationship with contractors. Provide technical guidance in interpretation of contract documents and specifications. Review job plans, methods, materials, and detect potential issues in meeting schedules or specifications.\n\nReview method statements, architectural material submittals, shop drawings, and as-built drawings submitted by contractors for compliance with contract requirements. Obtain engineering review and approval. Identify and report discrepancies in original design or contract documents requiring modifications.\n\nCoordinate with other departments and third parties to obtain required support and/or approvals. Resolve conflicts in schedules and coordinate interfaces between architectural and other disciplines.\n\nRecommend approval of schedule changes in construction activities where required.\n\nCompile technical data to prepare weekly and monthly reports on project progress, cost, and quality control. Conduct or direct investigations and advise SRCE and SRCM of issues affecting schedule or quality.\n\nAssist SRCE and SRCM in administrative functions and initiate correspondence (draft letters/reports) to contractors and other departments for SRCM’s signature.\n\nReview and validate billing items submitted in Work Estimates, confirm actual progress, determine work completion percentages, and recommend payments accordingly.\n\nAssist in compiling documentation and evaluating claims or delays related to architectural works.\n\nPerform other related duties as assigned by management.\n\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor’s Degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.\n\nMinimum of 5 years post-graduation experience with strong site inspection and construction management skills in architectural works.\n\nSolid understanding of architectural design principles, building materials, and construction detailing.\n\nKnowledge of international building codes (IBC, UBC), ADA standards, and local regulatory requirements.\n\nDesired project experience includes residential, commercial, institutional, and mixed-use developments, as well as public realm and infrastructure projects.\n\nFluent in spoken and written English; ability to produce clear technical documentation and reports.\n\nMust be able to obtain a Saudi Driving License.\n\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nAt least 3 years of Middle East work experience is desirable.\n\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
