Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nResident Engineer (Infrastructure)\nAbu Dhabi, UAE\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Resident Engineer (Infrastructure) to join our team! In this role you will lead day-to-day construction supervision for major infrastructure works in a complex marine environment, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, approved drawings/specifications and HSE standards.\n What You’ll Be Doing:\nLead site supervision for infrastructure works including storm drainage, sewage, and associated wet and dry utilities.\nDirect and manage supervision activities for key assets such as pipes, manholes, chambers, gullies, and associated structures.\nSupervise and coordinate the site supervision team (site engineers, inspectors, surveyors) to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery.\nCoordinate with other discipline Resident Engineers to maintain alignment across the project.\nReview contractor submissions including shop drawings, method statements, RFIs, and technical proposals related to drainage/utilities works.\nCoordinate with design engineers to resolve technical issues and ensure correct implementation on site.\nMaintain daily diary records and review daily reports from team members; monitor progress and productivity.\nCoordinate with contractors on scheduling and resource deployment; identify risks and drive corrective actions.\nAdvise on contractual and construction matters including utility diversions/installations, traffic diversions, and interface management.\nEnsure safety goals are achieved and that safe work procedures are implemented across all site activities.\nProvide on-site direction and issue site directions/instructions as required to ensure compliant execution and progress.\nPrepare and submit regular progress reports for drainage and utilities works.\nWhat Required Skills You’ll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.\nMinimum 15 years experience in construction supervision of large infrastructure/marine projects.\nStrong understanding of contractual relationships and construction supervision processes.\nProactive, solutions-driven approach with strong problem-solving capability.\nStrong computer literacy for reporting, record keeping, and project systems.\nFluent English (written and spoken) with strong technical writing skills.\nWhat Desired Skills You’ll Bring:\nExperience on marine-related works such as dredging, reclamation, earthworks and large-scale infrastructure supervision.\nStrong stakeholder coordination capability across multi-discipline and multi-contractor environments.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
