Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Resident Engineer (Marine) to join our team! In this role you will lead day-to-day construction supervision for major Marine and environmental works, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, approved drawings/specifications and HSE standards.\nWhat You'll Be Doing :\nLead site supervision team assigned for Marine & Environmental works including (Temporary cofferdam System, Dredging and reclamation, pilling works, construction of seawalls, revetments and quay walls), and other associated works.\nFollow-up /coordination with the Environmental Agency Abu Dhabi (EAD) to ensure obtaining Project (CEMP) Construction Environmental Management Plan approvals.\nDirect and manage supervision activities for Marine key assets and associated structures.\nSupervise and coordinate the site supervision team (site engineers, inspectors, surveyors) to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery.\nCoordinate with other discipline Senior Resident Engineers to maintain alignment across the project.\nReview contractor submissions including shop drawings, method statements, RFIs, and technical proposals related to Marine & Environmental works.\nCoordinate with design engineers to resolve technical issues and ensure correct implementation on site.\nMaintain daily diary records and review daily reports from team members; monitor progress and productivity.\nCoordinate with contractors on scheduling and resource deployment; identify risks and drive corrective actions.\nAdvise on contractual and construction matters.\nEnsure safety goals are achieved and that safe work procedures are implemented across all site activities.\nProvide on-site direction and issue site directions/instructions as required to ensure compliant execution and progress.\nPrepare and submit regular progress reports for Marine & Environmental work.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring :\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.\nMinimum 15 years experience in construction supervision of marine projects.\nStrong understanding of contractual relationships and construction supervision processes.\nProactive, solutions-driven approach with strong problem-solving capability.\nStrong computer literacy for reporting, record keeping, and project systems.\nFluent English (written and spoken) with strong technical writing skills.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring :\nMust have adequate experience in Marine & Environmental works including (Temporary cofferdam System, Dredging and reclamation, pilling works, construction of seawalls, revetments and quay walls), and other associated works.\nStrong stakeholder coordination capability across multi-discipline and multi-contractor environments.\nAble to attend physical interviews in Abu Dhabi.\n experence in GCC is an advantage.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
