Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nResident Engineer (Roads & Infrastructure)\nDoha, Qatar\nParsons is looking for a talented Resident Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to manage the Construction Supervision of Roads and Infrastructure Project.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nManage the scope of engineering work, schedules, change management and closeout for the assigned project elements, and monitors progress to meet schedule and budget requirements. Identifies and documents changes in scope.\n\nCoordinate with Authorities and Agencies for approvals and handing over of Project/services\n\nInterfaces with Contractor and subcontracts to facilitate compliance to the Contract and deliverables.\n\n-Reviews work produced to ensure that applicable codes, standards, and procedures are followed and that quality is acceptable\n\nReviews and approves change orders. Notifies project management and other affected personnel of all changes.\n\nMange the Client's expectation and update the progress periodically\n\nLiaise with Authorities to ensure smooth execution and handing over of the Project\n\nEnsure that Parsons rights and obligations are fulfilled\n\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nDegree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.\n\nMinimum 15 years post graduate experience in supervision, and construction management of major roads, bridges and infrastructure projects preferably within Qatar.\n\nGood communication skills both written and spoken.\n\nGood technical knowledge and well versed with the standards and codes.\n\nGood computer skills and software proficiency in related field.\n\nKnowledge in construction health, safety and environment\n\nMME/UPDA Certification\n\n What Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nExcellent interpersonal skills\n\nTeam works and mentoring the staff\n\nGood coordination with Client and other stake holders\n\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
