Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Roadway Engineering Intern to join our team!\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nPrepare construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.\nAssist with the geometric design of highways and roadways, including horizontal and vertical alignments, cross sections, superelevation diagrams, gore details, vertical clearance calculations, and grading plans.\nPerform material quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and field surveys as required.\nUse design software and CAE/CAD applications to develop and implement project designs.\nProvide technical guidance and input to CAD drafters, designers, and other engineers working on the project team.\nPerform additional responsibilities as assigned to support project delivery.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writing\nStrong interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills\nEager to learn, self-motivated, and flexible\nExcellent organizational and management skills\nSecurity Clearance Requirement:\nNoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
