Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nSecurity Installation Manager\nParsons is seeking an experienced Security Installation Manager to lead and oversee security system installation teams supporting U.S. Embassies and Consulates worldwide. This CONUS-based position requires approximately 35%-50% international travel in support of overseas Department of State facilities.\nThe Security Installation Manager will provide technical leadership and day-to-day supervision of Electricians and Security Technicians, ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Department of State standards, project requirements, and the National Electrical Code (NEC).\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nLead and manage security system installation teams supporting U.S. Embassies and Consulates worldwide.\nSupervise, coordinate, and provide direction to Electricians and Security Technicians, ensuring team members understand their roles, responsibilities, and project requirements.\nProvide technical guidance and expertise for the installation, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of security systems, including:Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV)\nAccess Control Systems \nIntrusion Detection Systems \nEmergency Notification Systems \nOther electronic security systems\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues encountered during installation, testing, and system integration.\nCoordinate daily installation activities with Program Leadership and Project Managers to ensure projects remain on schedule and meet established quality standards.\nEnsure installations are completed in accordance with Department of State requirements, applicable codes and standards, project specifications, and the National Electrical Code (NEC).\nMaintain quality control throughout the installation process and ensure all required project documentation is accurate and complete.\nSubmit daily project status reports to the Project Manager, Functional Manager, and/or Program Leadership.\nMaintain and update project redlines and installation documentation on a daily basis.\nMonitor field activities to ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with established safety procedures.\nLead daily and weekly safety meetings and ensure required safety training and Tool Talks are completed and documented.\nStay current on security installation technologies, industry standards, installation methods, and safety practices.\nMentor, coach, and develop Electricians and Security Technicians through hands-on training, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.\nPromote teamwork, accountability, quality workmanship, and professional standards across the installation team.\nSupport project mobilization, execution, testing, commissioning, and closeout activities as required.\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Program Leadership.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring\nMinimum of 8 years of experience in a technical, electrical, electronic security, construction, or related field.\nDemonstrated experience leading and supervising technical installation teams.\nStrong knowledge of security system installation, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.\nOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, design packages, installation documents, and project specifications.\nAbility to work effectively in demanding, remote, and international environments.\nAbility and willingness to travel internationally approximately 35%-50%.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring\nExperience supporting Department of State overseas security installation projects.\nExperience working with CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, alarm, and other electronic security systems.\nElectrical installation experience and working knowledge of the NEC.\nProven ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse technical teams in challenging and remote environments.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to establish priorities, manage multiple activities, and effectively allocate personnel and resources.\nExperience coordinating installation activities with Project Managers, Program Leadership, customers, and other stakeholders.\nAbility to train and mentor personnel on Department of State installation standards, security systems, installation procedures, and safety requirements.\nExperience working on overseas Government or high-security facilities.\nAbility to adapt to different cultures, working environments, schedules, and operational requirements.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to resolve complex field issues while maintaining project schedules and quality standards.\nMinimum Clearance Required to Start\nSecret\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nA security clearance is not required to apply; however, the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance which requires U.S. citizenship, prior to the start date.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
