Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior BIM/CAD Engineer to lead BIM coordination, digital engineering management, CAD standards implementation, model development, and multidisciplinary design coordination activities for a major Airport, Infrastructure, and Airfield Development Project.\nThe successful candidate will support the Delivery Partner by managing BIM workflows, coordinating engineering models, ensuring compliance with project BIM requirements, and facilitating effective collaboration between multiple disciplines including Architecture, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, ICT, Airfield Systems, AGL, Utilities, Roads, Pavements, and Airport Specialist Systems.\nThe Senior BIM/CAD Engineer will play a key role in ensuring accurate digital representation of airport assets including passenger terminals, runways, taxiways, cargo aprons, aircraft stands, landside facilities, utility networks, and operational infrastructure, supporting design review, construction coordination, digital delivery, and asset handover requirements.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nLead BIM coordination activities across the airport development program.\nEstablish and maintain BIM workflows, standards, procedures, and coordination requirements.\nSupport implementation of the Project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and Digital Delivery Strategy.\nProvide technical guidance to BIM engineers, CAD technicians, consultants, and contractors.\nEnsure BIM deliverables align with project objectives, client requirements, and international best practices.\nCoordinate BIM models across all engineering disciplines including:Civil and infrastructure.\nStructural systems.\nArchitectural works.\nMechanical systems.\nElectrical systems.\nICT and ELV systems.\nAirfield infrastructure.\nUtilities and drainage networks.\nAGL and airport specialist systems.\n\nPerform model federation, clash detection, and interface coordination.\nIdentify and resolve spatial conflicts between disciplines.\nSupport technical teams in optimizing design solutions through BIM coordination.\nReview BIM models, CAD drawings, and digital engineering deliverables for compliance with project standards.\nEnsure models meet Level of Development (LOD), Level of Information (LOI), and project information requirements.\nPerform quality checks on model accuracy, naming conventions, coordinates, parameters, and data consistency.\nMonitor consultant and contractor BIM submissions.\nEnsure compliance with Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows and document control procedures.\nSupport BIM coordination for major airport assets including:Passenger terminals and concourses.\nCargo facilities.\nRunways and taxiways.\nAircraft parking stands and aprons.\nAirport roads and infrastructure.\nUtility corridors.\nOperational and maintenance facilities.\n\nEnsure proper integration of engineering systems within complex airport environments.\nSupport digital coordination between airside and landside infrastructure.\nManage CAD standards, templates, workflows, and drawing production requirements.\nReview engineering drawings for compliance with project CAD standards.\nEnsure consistency of drawings, layouts, references, and technical documentation.\nSupport engineering teams with drafting requirements and technical visualization.\nMaintain accurate digital records of design revisions and engineering updates.\nProvide BIM support during construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover phases.\nReview contractor BIM submissions, shop drawings, as-built models, and digital deliverables.\nSupport construction teams in resolving field coordination issues.\nCoordinate BIM-based progress monitoring and construction sequencing activities.\nSupport verification of installed works against approved digital models.\nSupport development and management of asset information models (AIM).\nEnsure BIM data supports operation and maintenance requirements.\nCoordinate information exchange between consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.\nSupport preparation of digital handover documentation.\nMaintain structured project information according to client requirements.\nCoordinate with the Client, airport authorities, consultants, contractors, and specialist system suppliers regarding BIM requirements.\nParticipate in BIM coordination meetings, technical workshops, and design reviews.\nProvide BIM-related technical recommendations and solutions.\nSupport communication between engineering disciplines through digital platforms.\nPrepare BIM coordination reports, clash detection reports, model review comments, and progress updates.\nMaintain records of BIM issues, resolutions, and coordination decisions.\nMonitor BIM performance and recommend process improvements.\nSupport implementation of digital engineering innovations and best practices.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Information Technology, or related discipline.\nProfessional BIM certification is an advantage.\nMinimum 10 years of experience in BIM coordination, CAD management, and digital engineering delivery.\nProven experience on major airport, aviation, infrastructure, transportation, or large-scale construction projects.\nStrong experience coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models for complex facilities.\nExperience supporting:Airport terminals.\nAirfield infrastructure.\nRoads and utilities.\nBuilding services systems.\nLarge-scale infrastructure programs.\n\nExperience working with consultants, contractors, and client teams within BIM environments.\nStrong knowledge of BIM standards, workflows, and digital engineering processes.\nAdvanced proficiency in BIM and CAD platforms including:Autodesk Revit.\nAutodesk Civil 3D.\nNavisworks Manage.\nAutoCAD.\nBIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud or equivalent CDE platforms.\n\nExperience with clash detection, model federation, and BIM coordination processes.\nKnowledge of ISO 19650 BIM standards and information management principles.\nUnderstanding of airport infrastructure coordination and multidisciplinary engineering interfaces.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and coordination abilities.\nAbility to manage multiple BIM priorities within a complex airport project environment.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nBIM certifications such as Autodesk Certified Professional, BIM Manager Certification, or equivalent.\nExperience implementing BIM on international airport development projects.\nKnowledge of ISO 19650 information management
