In this role you will get to provides business development leadership and direction for one geographic location or a specific market sector over a broader geographic area. Understands business negotiations, and recognizes and acts upon opportunities to promote the Company's expertise and successful past performance. May travel extensively to cultivate new and ongoing business development endeavors. Typical responsibilities include important client accounts and large, complex proposal/project activities.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nEstablishes and maintains client contacts and develops sales strategy. Strengthens current business ties; coordinates meetings between clients/potential clients and technical or other key individuals.\nKeeps abreast of overall business trends, particularly the current business climate.\nConducts surveys to determine promising areas of development. - Establishes and maintains numerous contacts within and outside the industry.\nFollows up in a timely manner on all possible leads.\nDevelops proposals for services in response to invitations to bid, and provides guidance to proposal team from inception to completion.\nDevelops the pricing structure, as well as other contract terms and conditions.\nNegotiates contracts, including secrecy agreements and joint venture agreements.\nActs as sponsor for foreign agent representative(s); negotiates and maintains agent agreement.\nActs as sponsor during project execution.\nPerforms other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor's Degree Engineering or Business (or equivalent)\n10-15+ years diversified experience, primarily within the business development (5-10 years) realm of a large, multinational company\nSeasoned capture management professional\nCommercial bid management\nClient relationship and interface management\nA thorough understanding of proposal pricing, contract terminology, negotiations with potential clients, and the Company’s policies and business objectives\nThe incumbent must also possess strong written and oral communication skills, including excellent presentation skills.\nIn addition, an exceptional ability to represent the Company favorably, to develop new clients, and to negotiate with key members of other firms, is also required.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
