In this role, you will architect, deploy, and operate Microsoft Azure infrastructure as part of a hybrid enterprise environment, integrating dynamic cloud workloads with on-premises compute, storage, and identity platforms in a classified setting. You will be the program's go-to expert for all things Azure, from landing zone design and identity to migration, automation, security compliance and FinOps support.\nThis is your opportunity to shape a dynamic hybrid cloud environment from the ground up on a program that directly supports national security missions.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nDesign, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure including compute (VMs, scale sets), storage, virtual networking, and platform services in commercial and/or Government environments\nArchitect and maintain landing zones, subscription/management group structure, and governance via CSP Policy, RBAC, and other security tools\nHelp design and implement dynamic deployment methods based on customer needs, system telemetry, and other factors\nPlan and execute workload migrations from on-premises environments to the cloud, including assessment, right-sizing, cutover, and validation\nBuild and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools; automate operational tasks\nImplement backup, disaster recovery, and continuity/resilience solutions using CSP-specific tools and on-premises tooling\nHarden cloud systems in accordance with DoD STIGs, CIS benchmarks, and DISA cloud computing SRG requirements; support RMF assessment and authorization activities with required artifacts and evidence in support of Authority to Test\nImplement monitoring, logging, and alerting for all cloud resources; ensure audit logging meets NIST SP 800-53 (AU family) requirements\nManage cloud cost optimization, capacity planning, and performance tuning across the hybrid environment\nDevelop and maintain architecture documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures; mentor junior engineers\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline; additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree\n8+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including 4+ years of hands-on cloud engineering\nDeep expertise in IaaS and core platform services: virtual machines, virtual networks, storage, security, identity, policy, and RBAC\nExperience designing and operating hybrid environments, including hybrid identity and connectivity\nProficiency with infrastructure-as-code and automation\nCertified cloud solutions architect\nActive TS/SCI security clearance, may require a polygraph\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring\nExperience with classified cloud regions\nExperience applying DISA Cloud Computing SRG, FedRAMP, and DoD Impact Level (IL4/IL5/IL6/IL7) requirements\nExperience supporting RMF authorization packages (eMASS/XACTA) and security assessments in DoD/IC environments\nFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration (AKS, Docker) and CI/CD pipelines (DevOps, GitLab)\nExperience with cloud security automation\nExperience working in SCIF or air gapped environments and with disconnected/limited-connectivity cloud patterns\nCISSP or CCSP certification\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nNoneThis position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
