In this role you will perform contract administration assignments for all phases of the most demanding contractual undertakings.\nThis is a remote role. Target Location(s): DMV (DC, MD, VA)\nWhat you will be doing:\nReviews client contracts of all types to identify risks and to ensure conformity to Company policy.\nProposes alternative text/clauses to client contracts, as appropriate for the Company business.\nEnsures that the contract is thoroughly reviewed for legal, risk management, tax, and accounting issues prior to submitting to management for approval.\nParticipates as a member of the negotiating team, consisting of business development and project management personnel, for establishing business terms and contract conditions.\nMonitors and administers the business provisions of prime contracts to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.\nAdvises the Contracts Manager regarding scope, financial, and risk issues of prime contracts.\nMay be responsible for overseeing a significant portion of the contract administration activities within designated Company wide market areas.\nSolves significant prime contract problems, taking independent action as prescribed by project procedures.\nMay provide guidance and direction to lower-level Contract Administrators, as appropriate.\nPerforms other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or related field 5+ years of prime contract administration experience is required\nRequires a thorough knowledge of industry business practices and the negotiation of prime contracts\nIncumbent must also possess strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills\nWorking knowledge of PC software packages typically associated with contract administration\nTop Secret/SCI\nReport to office a minimum of 3 days per week or when called upon to do so.\n What Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nBackground supporting Intelligence Community (IC) and/or Department of Defense (DoD) contracts.\nTop Secret/SCI\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Corporate team.For over 80 years, Parsons Corporation, has shaped the future of the defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure markets.
