Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nSenior Document Controller\nAbu Dhabi, UAE\nParsons is looking for an amazingly Senior Document Controller to join our team! In this role, you'll track and record all data related to the project.\nWhat you will be Doing:\nCoordinate the flow of documents between project operations, engineering disciplines, construction team, or other department groups\n\nProcess one or more document types through all procedural steps in accordance with well-defined procedures and guidelines. Ensures that pre-established document control requirements (e.g., which document numbering system will be used; how many and which signatures will be required for certain approvals, etc.) are satisfactorily met throughout the duration of the project\n\nReceive, track, and monitor documents using standard document management programs to register documents, maintain databases, and produces logs, transmittals, and other reports as required\n\nEnter data and produces reports using other standard office automation or department-specific computer applications\n\nScan documents for electronic storage\n\nMaintain an established data distribution system and schedule for the assigned project based upon client, project, department, and supplier requirements. Expedites review, signature approval, and release of supplier and internally produced documents\n\nMay perform some clerical duties such as light typing, filing, answering phones, messenger service, etc.\n\nAssist junior document control staff to ensure effective implementation of project-specific procedures\n\nPerform other duties commensurate with functional level and responsibilities\n\nWhat Required Skills You will Bring:\nDiploma or degree in any related discipline\n\nMinimum 12 years of document control experience in an engineering design / consulting environment.\n\nProficient keyboard skills and a working knowledge of MS Windows and related word processing, spreadsheet, and database software is required.\n\nAssignments will require a working knowledge of Aconex or other EDMS\n\nGood written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project personnel and management.\n\nDetail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment\n\nSuperior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner.\n\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
