Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior GIS /CAD Technician to join our team in Tabuk, KSA\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nLead GIS activities and provide specialist geospatial support across the project.Develop, manage, and maintain project GIS databases and geodatabases.\nCollect, process, validate, analyze, and visualize spatial data.Maintain accurate GIS layers for project infrastructure, utilities, buildings, roads, pavements, drainage, and other assets.Integrate survey, CAD, BIM, GPS, satellite, drone, and field data into GIS platforms.\nEnsure all spatial information is correctly georeferenced and aligned with approved project coordinate systems.\nReview GIS data for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.\nEstablish and maintain GIS data standards, naming conventions, metadata, and data structures.\nPerform spatial analysis to support engineering, construction, planning, logistics, and asset management activities.Develop and maintain GIS maps, drawings, dashboards, and visualization products.\nSupport project teams with spatial queries, analysis, and geospatial information requirements.Coordinate with Survey teams to ensure accurate survey control, coordinates, benchmarks, and spatial datasets.\nCoordinate with BIM teams to integrate BIM models and GIS datasets where required.Support integration between GIS, BIM, CAD, CDE, and asset management systems.\nPerform data conversion between different GIS, CAD, and engineering formats.\nManage geospatial data imports, exports, editing, cleaning, and transformation.Maintain metadata and ensure traceability of GIS datasets.Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, duplication, and spatial conflicts.Conduct GIS quality assurance and implement corrective actions where required.Support development of automated GIS workflows and data management processes.Provide technical guidance to junior GIS staff and project teams.\nPrepare GIS reports, maps, dashboards, and technical presentations.Maintain GIS registers, data inventories, issue logs, and data quality reports.Support digital handover and asset information requirements.\nEnsure GIS information remains current throughout design, construction, commissioning, and handover.Airport / Infrastructure & Airfield \nDevelop and maintain GIS datasets for airport terminals, airfield facilities, runways, taxiways, aprons, roads, utilities, drainage, and external infrastructure.\nSupport management of airport-wide spatial information and infrastructure databases.\n\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor's Degree in GIS, Geomatics, Surveying, Geography, Civil Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline\nMinimum 10+ years of r experience in GIS, geospatial information management, infrastructure mapping, or digital engineering.\nStrong experience working on major infrastructure, airport, transportation, utilities, or multidisciplinary construction projects.Advanced proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, or equivalent GIS platforms.Strong knowledge of geodatabases, spatial analysis, data management, and GIS visualization.\n What Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nGIS & Geospatial Information Management\nArcGIS Pro / Enterprise / Online\nSpatial Analysis ,Geodatabase Management\nGIS Data Quality Assurance\nInfrastructure Mapping, Utility Mapping\nExperience with CAD and engineering data integration, including AutoCAD / Civil 3D, is highly desirable.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
