Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for an experienced, team-oriented Senior Performance Analysis Engineer to join our Huntsville, AL team. In this role you will support the analysis and assessment of Ground-based Missile Defense (GMD) systems in support of Missile Defense Agency (MDA).\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nDevelop and maintain MATLAB, Python, and C++ analysis tools to support medium-fidelity modeling, simulation, and performance assessments of the Ground-Based Interceptor (GBI) and Next Generation Interceptor (NGI).\nDevelop, execute, and analyze modeling and simulation (M&S) environments to evaluate interceptor performance across a variety of engagement scenarios and mission conditions.\nPerform quick-response analysis in support of the In-Flight Interceptor Communication System Data Terminal (IDT), including kinematic battlespace assessments and other time-sensitive technical analyses.\nConduct interceptor performance analysis to evaluate system capabilities, identify performance trends and limitations, and support technical assessments and decision-making.\nSupport the development and enhancement of future interceptor analysis capabilities, methodologies, models, simulations, and analytical tools.\nAnalyze and interpret simulation results to assess system performance and provide technically sound conclusions and recommendations.\nDevelop and deliver technical briefings to communicate analysis methodologies, assumptions, results, and conclusions to engineering teams, program leadership, and government stakeholders.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to address emerging analysis needs and support current and future missile defense capabilities.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nActive Secret security clearance. \nBachelor's Degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical/scientific discipline degree related to area of specialty and 5+ years of related professional experience. NOTE: Newly-hired PhD graduates are typically hired into this level.\n\nDemonstrated experience supporting MDA GMD Programs.\nProficiency in MATLAB, including model development, data analysis, and visualization.\nAdvances Proficiency with Python, including scientific computing libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib.\nStrong understanding of statistical analysis, numerical methods, optimization techniques, and simulation-based performance assessment.\nExperience interpreting simulation outputs and translating analytical findings into actionable engineering recommendations.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting technical analyses to government customers and senior leadership.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor's Degree in STEM and 7+ years of related professional experience.\nExperience supporting MDA Element or System-level performance assessments.\nRadar analysis experience.\nStrong analytical background.\nSelf-starting technical problem solver.\nExperience integrating AI/MIL into analytical processes.\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Secret security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
