Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nSenior Planning Engineer (Buildings)\nAbu Dhabi, UAE\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Planning Engineer to join our team! In this role you will lead planning, scheduling, progress control and time-related claims / EOT support for major infrastructure works, ensuring robust programme management and clear reporting to stakeholders.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nReview contractor baseline and updated programmes and support the Engineer’s consent in line with contract conditions and Parsons practices.\nDevelop integrated master schedules and validate resource and schedule feasibility.\nIdentify schedule risks/conflicts and maintain planning trackers/logs and inputs to the risk register.\nAnalyze progress updates to identify delays/slippage, critical events, and recommend mitigation and recovery plans.\nPerform “what-if” and schedule impact analysis for changes/variations and potential events.\nPrepare weekly/monthly progress reports, programme analysis, and presentations against milestones.\nAssess claims including EOT/disruption using delay analysis methods (e.g., time impact analysis and window analysis) and demonstrate concurrent delay where applicable.\nCoordinate planning issues with contractors and stakeholders; attend meetings and prepare concise minutes.\nMaintain contemporaneous records; issue delay/slow-performance notifications when required.\nLead and mentor planning team members as needed.\nWhat Required Skills You’ll Bring:\nDegree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent discipline.\nMinimum 15 years planning experience, including strong claims/EOT and delay analysis capability.\nExperience in construction supervision of buildings projects.\nShould have sound knowledge of underground constructions.\nStrong leadership and stakeholder management skills.\nProficiency with planning tools and reporting systems; strong computer literacy.\nStrong written and spoken English with excellent technical writing skills.\nPrimavera P6 skills\nUAE experience\nPMC experience\nWhat Desired Skills You’ll Bring:\nProfessional certifications in planning/scheduling (e.g., PSP, PMI-SP or similar).\nForensic planning experience within engineering consultancy/PMC environments.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.\nWe truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
