Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nSenior Planning Engineer - Rails\nAbu Dhabi, UAE\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Planning Engineer - Rails to join our PMC team on a major Rail programme. In this role you will lead planning, scheduling, progress control, reporting and time-related claims/EOT support.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nReview contractor baseline and progress schedules and support the Engineer’s consent in line with contract requirements and Parsons practices.\n\nDevelop and maintain integrated master schedules across packages and interfaces; validate resource/schedule feasibility.\n\nIdentify potential schedule risks/conflicts and support updates to the project risk register.\n\nAnalyze progress updates to identify delays/slippage, critical events and recommend mitigation/recovery actions.\n\nPerform “what-if” analysis and schedule impact assessments for changes/variations.\n\nPrepare weekly/monthly progress reports, programme analysis, dashboards and presentations against milestones.\n\nSupport claims/EOT assessments using delay analysis methods (e.g., time impact and window analysis), including concurrent delay analysis.\n\nLead planning coordination meetings, maintain trackers/logs and ensure contemporaneous records are kept.\n\nProvide technical guidance and leadership to planning team members as required.\n\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management from a recognized institution.\n\nMinimum 12 years post-graduate experience including 5+ years of rail experience.\n\nPrevious experience in Planning & Scheduling, Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis, and Extension of Time Claims\n\nExtensive experience with the design processes and construction methodologies in Rail Projects\n\nExperience in the application of Primavera P6, Primavera Risk Analysis and TILOS.\n\nStrong understanding of rail design/construction methodologies and industry best practices/regulations.\n\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nProfessional certification such asPSPorPMI-SP(preferred).\n\nStrong interface/stakeholder management and analytical problem-solving capability.\n\nStrong focus on safety, quality, and timely delivery.\n\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
