Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Bridge Project Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to support the design and delivery of complex structural projects and contribute to innovative engineering solutions.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nLeads bridge design, engineering, and analysis for transportation projects.\nDevelops the scope of engineering work, schedules, and budgets for the assigned project elements, and monitors progress to meet schedule and budget. requirements.\nAnalyze and prepare project designs, calculations and drawings for steel bridges; pre-cast, pre-stressed concrete bridges; cast-in-place flat slabs; and miscellaneous structures, with guidance provided on assigned tasks as required.\nReviews bridge work produced to ensure that applicable codes, standards, and procedures are followed and that quality is acceptable.\nMonitors productivity and technical proficiency of assigned technical personnel and makes reassignments as project needs arise.\nProvides training and development opportunities for assigned personnel.\nCoordinates the utilization of interdisciplinary technical personnel on the project, as well as the assignment of personnel from other technical support groups within the company.\nAssists the Project Manager in planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the project or study.\nParticipates in determining the technical skills and staff hours required for successful completion of the project.\nEnsures client criteria and scope are met within the bridge engineering practice. Expedites distribution of action items following discussions/meetings with the client and Project Manager.\nPrepares technical reports, project manuals, and documentation of activity for the client and project management.\nPerforms other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.\nWhat Qualifications You’ll Bring\nMasters Degree in Structural or Geotechnical Engineering\n10+ years related field engineering experience or broad general engineering background and previous project engineering experience\nP.E license\nMust possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and be able to select and apply appropriate engineering software for use on projects\n\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nNoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
