In this role, you will get to support field engineering and construction activities for multiple programs for PG&E. This role will be in Walnut Creek area.\nIn this role you will be responsible for the following:\nCollaborates with PG&E to establish project schedule and budget, and monitors progress in meeting schedule and budget requirements.\n\nDevelops project documents, processes, and procedures required to support quality control and final project deliverables.\n\nCollaborates with PG&E to determine the number of hours required for the successful completion of project tasks.\n\nAnticipates project staffing needs, identifies and interviews available personnel, and makes staffing assignments in accordance with schedule requirements.\n\nEstablishes objectives and conducts performance appraisals for direct reports.\n\nActively promotes and supports safety policies and monitors the job site for good safety practices.\n\nPost all required legal notices at the job site.\n\nEstablishes site security measures and monitors site access by subcontractors and others.\n\nChairs weekly job meetings prepares and submits summary of project progress and pending issues to Project Manager.\n\nSubmits monthly reports to clients and responds to client issues and expectations.\n\nAssists PG&E in pricing and negotiating changes to the scope of work with the client and subcontractors.\n\nReviews bid documents and assists with bidder solicitation activities.\n\nDocuments and executes changes in the scope of the project.\n\nAnticipates problems and works with clients, architects/engineers, subcontractors, and Project managers to identify and implement corrective actions.\n\nKeeps PG&E informed of the day-to-day activities of the project.\n\nMaintains accurate documentation of job progress through daily logs and other reports.\n\nPerforms other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.\n\nEducation and Typical Experience\n- Bachelor's Degree Engineering or related technical/business field\n- 10+ years of related work experience is required or overall experience\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nNoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
