Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for an exceptionally talented SeniorQuantit y Surveyor to join our site-based construction supervision team on a major public realm development in Diriyah, which includes a series of iconic and neighborhood parks, open spaces, and over 55 kilometers of streetscape. The objective of this program is to create a vibrant, inclusive environment that enhances livability, accessibility, and community well-being.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nPrepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for construction projects.\n\nAnalyze project costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.\n\nMonitor and control project expenditures to ensure adherence to budgets.\n\nPrepare tender documents, including bills of quantities, specifications, and contracts.\n\nEvaluate contractor bids and provide recommendations for award.\n\nNegotiate contracts and manage procurement processes to ensure value for money.\n\nCollaborate with the PMC team to ensure project milestones are met within budget and schedule.\n\nProvide cost-related insights and recommendations during project planning and execution.\n\nAssist in risk management and mitigation strategies related to project costs.\n\nManage contracts and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.\n\nMonitor variations and claims, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.\n\nPrepare and submit progress reports, valuations, and final accounts.\n\nLiaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth communication and project delivery.\n\nProvide regular updates on cost-related matters to stakeholders.\n\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, or a related field.\n\nProven experience in quantity surveying, preferably with exposure to PMC roles.\n\nStrong knowledge of cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration.\n\nFamiliarity with design review processes and ability to identify cost implications.\n\nProficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel, cost management tools).\n\nExcellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.\n\nAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.\n\n What Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nExperience working on large-scale construction projects.\n\nKnowledge of local building codes and regulations.\n\nCertification in RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent is a plus.\n\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
