Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nWe are seeking an experienced Senior RAM Engineer to lead Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) activities for major railway and transit projects. The successful candidate will work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure railway systems meet performance, operational, and contractual requirements throughout the project lifecycle.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead RAM engineering activities across design, testing, commissioning, and operations phases.\nDevelop RAM plan, RAM demonstration plan, FRACAS procedure and RAM Deliverables.\nPerform and review FMEA/FMECA, FTA, reliability predictions, availability modeling.\nAllocate and verify RAM requirements for systems and subsystems.\nSupport design reviews and supplier evaluations.\nAnalyze operational data and recommend reliability improvement initiatives.\nCollaborate with Systems Engineering, Safety, Operations, and Maintenance teams.\nSupport client meetings, technical workshops, and project reviews.\nQualifications\nBachelor's/master’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems or related discipline).\n8+ years of experience in RAM/RAMS engineering, including experience in railway or transit projects.\nStrong knowledge of reliability, availability, maintainability, and life-cycle engineering principles.\nExperience with railway systems such as signaling, rolling stock, communications, power, or infrastructure.\nFamiliarity with EN 50126 and other relevant railway standards.\nKnowledge on MIL-HDBK-217 FN2, NPRD,FMD, MIL-STD-1629A or similar standards.\nExperience with RAM tools such as Isograph, ReliaSoft, RAM Commander, or equivalent is a must.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.\nTechnical knowledge on main subsystems of a railway turnkey project.\nExperience in reading and understanding technical requirements.\nAbility to lead technical discussions and engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.\nJoin our team and help deliver safe, reliable, and high-performing railway systems that support the future of transportation in Canada.\nThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
