Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Risk Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to lead project planning, scheduling, and schedule-risk management activities to ensure successful and timely delivery of complex infrastructure and rail projects.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nReview and approve contractors’ baseline schedules in line with contract conditions and Parsons Recommended Practices.\n\nValidate the compatibility and adequacy of project resources to support timely completion.\n\nDevelop and maintain a Master Schedule integrating multiple packages and interfaces across design and construction.\n\nAnalyze updated/progress schedules, identify potential delays/slippages and critical events, and recommend mitigation, corrective actions, and recovery plans.\n\nConduct “what if” and time-impact analyses to assess the schedule impact of changes, variations, and potential events.\n\nPrepare regular progress and monthly reports with program analysis, forecasts, and recommendations, and deliver presentations on interim and major milestones.\n\nPerform detailed assessment of Extension of Time and disruption claims using recognized delay analysis methodologies (e.g., time impact analysis, window analysis), including evaluation of concurrent delays.\n\nCoordinate and resolve planning and scheduling issues with contractors, the Employer, and the Client, and support finalization of programs, reports, and claims.\n\nAttend and contribute to kick-off, technical, coordination, and progress meetings, preparing concise and accurate minutes.\n\nPrepare and maintain trackers/logs for critical issues during design and construction stages.\n\nIdentify schedule-related risks/conflicts, maintain the Project Risk Register, and perform Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis using tools such as Primavera Risk Analysis or Safran Risk.\n\nAgree on the Progress Measurement System (PMS)(PMS) and key indicators with consultants/contractors for performance monitoring.\n\nIssue delay notices and slow-performance letters for contractor-culpable delays, supported by proper contemporary records.\n\nLead and mentor a team of planning engineers, providing technical guidance and leadership.\n\nWhat Required Skills You’ll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.\n\nMinimum of 10 years of experience in infrastructure and rail projects.\n\nDemonstrated experience in project Planning & Scheduling, Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis, and Extension of Time claims.\n\nStrong knowledge of design processes and construction methodologies in infrastructure and rail projects.\n\nProficiency in Primavera P6, Primavera Risk Analysis, Acumen Fuse, and TILOS.\n\nExcellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.\n\nWhat Desired Skills You’ll Bring:\nExperience performing advanced delay analyses, including concurrent delay demonstration, on major infrastructure and rail programs.\n\nProven ability to set up and manage effective progress measurement systems and KPIs.\n\nStrong stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills.\n\nPrior experience leading and mentoring planning teams on large, complex projects.\n\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
