In this role you will get to design and deliver mission-critical biometric software solutions for a major federal customer, driving secure, scalable systems that support high-impact national security objectives.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nManage day-to-day implementation of programs and projects related to biometric software systems and military applications.\nCoordinate project plans, schedules, deliverables, and priorities with internal teams and leadership.\nContribute to department goals, planning efforts, and broader functional strategy.\nHelp lead planning and execution for large, cross-functional programs involving secure software and biometric collection systems.\nInterface regularly with senior management and executive leadership to provide status updates, risks, and recommendations.\nSupport development, deployment, and sustainment of software inAndroidandAgile/DevOps/DevSecOpsenvironments.\nTroubleshoot issues affecting biometric collection systems, including software, system performance, and operational problems.\nInvestigate, analyze, and resolve software defects in biometrics-related applications.\nCoordinate and validate software patches, fixes, and enhancements for deployed systems.\nOversee and support testing activities to ensure product quality before release to production.\nReview test plans, test execution results, defect trends, and release readiness.\nEnsure secure data handling and management for biometric data collection, storage, and transmission.\nApply knowledge ofinformation assurance, encryption, and security protocolsto protect system integrity and sensitive data.\nWork with development, QA, cybersecurity, and operations teams to maintain compliance with security and operational requirements.\nSupport secure product releases and production deployments, ensuring testing and security controls are completed.\nMonitor system performance and help resolve issues discovered in production or fielded environments.\nServe as a technical and operational resource for managers, team members, and other stakeholders.\nProvide guidance on best practices related to software quality, security, troubleshooting, and release management.\nHelp improve processes for defect management, patching, testing, secure deployment, and system support.\nSupport troubleshooting, patches, enhancements, testing, and secure data management for biometric collection systems\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nActive Secret clearance or higher\nBachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline\n7 years of software engineering experience\nStrong experience in biometrics-related software, military applications, information assurance, encryption, and security protocols\nExperience with Android and Agile/DevOps/DevSecOps environments\nStrong understanding ofinformation assurance,encryption, andsecurity protocols\nKnowledge of software development lifecycle, testing processes, defect management, and release management\nFamiliarity with secure software delivery and cybersecurity best practices\nAbility to oversee software quality and test activities prior to production release\nKnowledge of system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nPrior experience with one or more of the following systems: BAT-A, NXGBCC, NRTIO\nExperience with AWS Cloud platforms\nExperience with Mobile Device Management tools and concepts\nUnderstanding of secure handling, transmission, and storage of biometric data\nFamiliarity with software used in government, defense, or mission-critical environments\nAbility to work across development, QA, cybersecurity, and operations teams\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Secret security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
