Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for a sharp Systems Administrator to join our growing team!\nWork Shift:\nSunday - Thursday 9 AM - 5 PM Mountain Time\nRequired to work Federal Holidays with OT (if this does not fall withinyour normal work schedule) Mountain Time\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nProvide Onsite Tier I systems, hardware, application, and storage administration support in a primarily Red Hat environment with Active Directory.\nMonitor system for anomalies or issues requiring attention or escalation.\nPerform initial troubleshooting of system issues.\nAugment current Tier 1 support by facilitating vendor onboarding, account creation, password resets, and software updates.\nProvide IT and Audio-Visual support for classified and unclassified lab events, demonstrations, meetings, and symposiums.\nResponsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, and virtualization-based hardware and software.\nImplement technical hardware and software solution to meet system requirements.\nGenerate, review, and analyze manual and automated cyber reports.\nAssist in system and equipment installation, verification, and check-out.\nWhat Required Skills You’ll Bring:\nActive Secret DoD Security Clearance with ability to obtain and/or maintain a TS/SCI\n12+ years of experience, with additional education, training, and certifications able to count towards total years of experience\nBachelors degree, with additional years of experience able to count in lieu of a degree. Additional flexibility pending Customer approval.\n Current Security+ Certification or equivalent IAT Level II or III certification\nExperience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and the Microsoft Windows operating systems administration.\nExperience with administration and troubleshooting of virtualized and bare metal platforms (Virtual Machines, Containers, Other).\nExperience with Windows Active Directory domains and Windows server administration.\nFamiliar with VMware vSphere/ESXi.\nExperience with adding, removing, and updating Red Hat RPMs.\nUnderstanding of network fundamentals (IP, Ethernet).\nExperience with virtualized operating system concepts and administration.\nWorking knowledge of security assessment/compliance products (HBSS, ACAS, OpenSCAP, ePO, SCC).\nMust be able to work in a production/operational environment.\nStrong troubleshooting skills.\nStrong interpersonal and customer service skills.\nWhat Desired Skills You Might Bring:\nTwo or Four year Degree in IT discipline preferred.\nRed Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)\nMicrosoft Certified Solutions Associate Certification (MCSA)\nExperience with audio/visual systems.\nExperience with KVMoIP systems.\nExperience with working with a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tool to monitor system alerts (Elastic preferred).\nWorking knowledge of the following technologies or equivalent: Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Kickstart, DHCP, Ansible, SDN, RPM.\nWorking knowledge of automation tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Other)\nExperience within an Agile framework environment.\nWorking knowledge of security assessment/compliance products (HBSS, ACAS, OpenSCAP, ePO, SCC, STIGs, STIG Viewer).\nExperience with system automation and configuration management.\nExperience with JIRA, DI2E, and Confluence.\nWorking knowledge of complete hardware stack: rack, power, compute (CPU and GPU), storage (NAS, SAN, Scale-out, and Object), network (switches, routers, load balancers, and firewalls), workstation, and display.\nIntermediate knowledge of RHEL administration (RHEL 8 and above).\nManagement of virtualization, cloud, and container technology (VMware workstation/vSphere/vCenter/ESXi, AWS EC2/S3/Glacier, Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift).\nFluent in one or more of the following scripting areas: Shell, Python or Perl. \n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
