Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for a talented Senior Systems Engineer to join our growing team!\nIn this role you will get to support key activities in defense of emerging threats in the cybersecurity domain. You will work as part of a team that develops and tailors capabilities with the goal to prevent and eradicate threats to critical U.S. systems.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nAnalyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements and specifications.\nGuide users in formulating requirements, advise on alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.\nProvide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.\nParticipate in interface definition, design, and changes throughout project lifecycle. Capture and store all interface designs in a commonly accessible repository.\nDevelop lower-level requirements from higher-level requirements that describe in detail the functions a system component must fulfill and ensure these requirements are complete, correct, unambiguous, and verifiable.\nIn conjunction with system stakeholders, plan verification efforts of new designs early in the development lifecycle to ensure compliance with established requirements.\nDevelop technical documentation, system architecture and design documentation.\nCollaborate in agile scrum cycles, contribute to design sessions, conduct periodic reviews of evolving configuration of hardware and software components, and consider design alternatives for system expansion and growth.\nActively participate in Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) efforts to recommend preferred solutions based on technology limitations, risk, and lifecycle costs.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nActive TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph\nBachelors degree, with additional years of experience able to count in lieu of a degree\n15+ years of experience, with additional education, training, and certifications able to count in lieu of a degree\nExperience working within a cybersecurity mission environment using tools and capabilities to generate threat intelligence. This includes working with cybersecurity analyst teams to perform data analysis and a deep understanding of adversary tradecraft.\nExperience implementing best practices for knowledge management and applying techniques to create automated solutions in support of the cybersecurity analytic mission.\nWorking knowledge of cloud architecture, containers, APIs, data services, identity/access management, and secure system integration.\nAbility to understand how AI applications depend on underlying platform components such as model hosting, pipelines, storage, orchestration, and monitoring.\nAble to translate complex technical issues into actionable guidance for mixed technical and non-technical audiences.\nMission-oriented, collaborative, and proactive\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
