Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Signaling Engineer (Systems) to join our team!\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nWork closely with the Design-Build (DB) Contractor’s CBTC signaling team to ensure successful delivery of the signaling solution in accordance with contract requirements, performance targets, and project schedules.\nManage and monitor the activities of signaling contractors and subcontractors, providing technical oversight and support in resolving critical installation and commissioning issues.\nEnsure that signaling systems and all associated interfaces are installed, tested, and commissioned in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and contractual requirements.\nReview construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions related to CBTC signaling systems and fallback signaling systems.\nReview subcontractor proposals and assess scope, technical capability, resource availability, relevant experience, workforce competency, and equipment suitability.\nReview method statements, installation procedures, testing procedures, and commissioning plans submitted by contractors and subcontractors.\nReview signaling system documentation, including designs, implementation plans, equipment installation plans, testing plans, and commissioning plans.\nMonitor signaling system interfaces and integration activities with other railway systems and disciplines, including platform screen doors.\nPrepare technical reports related to signaling installation, testing, and commissioning activities, including issue analysis, findings, and recommendations.\nMonitor and report project progress against schedule, budget, specifications, and performance requirements.\nSupport project teams in resolving technical, contractual, and operational challenges related to signaling systems.\nWhat Required Skills You’ll Bring:\nBachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 10 years of experience in CBTC signaling system installation, testing, and commissioning on large-scale metro projects.\nDemonstrated experience in rail signaling design, installation, system testing, commissioning, operations, and maintenance within metro or commuter rail environments.\nExperience in consultant supervision and contractor management roles, including contractual administration and technical correspondence.\nStrong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.\nGood commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery requirements.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English.\nAbility to effectively communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary and multinational project teams.\nWhat Desired Skills You’ll Bring:\nRail industry-recognized qualifications such as IRSE certification or equivalent.\nKnowledge of Communication-Based Train Control (CBTC), Automatic Train Control (ATC), and Trackside Signaling systems.\nPrevious GCC project experience.\nExperience on metro, railway, or major transportation infrastructure projects.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
