Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is seeking a highly capable Full Stack Software Developer to support the design, development, integration, and delivery of mission-critical software for the national cybersecurity and defense mission. The selected candidate will join a small, collaborative team responsible for integrating specialized software into a tactical operations platform that unifies strategic and tactical operational views.\nThis position is well suited for a mid- to senior-level developer who can work independently, solve complex technical problems, and contribute across the full software development lifecycle-from requirements analysis and architecture through implementation, testing, deployment, and sustainment.\nThis position will be HYBRID - 3 days onsite in the office and 2 days remote.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nDesign, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack software applications.\nDevelop and configure Foundry applications that support mission workflows, operational decision-making, data integration, and user collaboration.\nTranslate business, mission, and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.\nDevelop technical designs, interface specifications, and software architecture documentation.\nBuild responsive web applications using modern HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks.\nDevelop and integrate backend services, APIs, and web service calls to external systems.\nSupport custom web-based visualizations for complex operational and mission data.\nPerform coding, debugging, unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting.\nConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for software defects and performance issues.\nIntegrate software components across tactical and enterprise environments.\nDevelop and maintain database solutions using relational and NoSQL database technologies.\nParticipate in code reviews and promote software quality, maintainability, security, and performance.\nUse Git and established configuration management practices for source control and collaboration.\nSupport deployment, release management, and sustainment activities.\nResearch and implement new development tools, techniques, and technologies, including Foundry capabilities where appropriate.\nPrepare and maintain technical documentation, design artifacts, test documentation, and user-facing materials.\nCommunicate technical information clearly to customers, engineering teams, and program leadership.\nWork effectively in an Agile development environment, contributing to planning, estimation, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced developers as needed.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nActive Secret security clearance.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.\n10 or more years of professional software development experience, with a strong background in: HTML, CSS, JavaScript\nDemonstrated experience developing and maintaining production-quality software applications.\nExperience working independently in a small-team or mission-focused engineering environment.\nExperience across multiple phases of the software development lifecycle.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.\nAbility to obtain and maintain program-specific access requirements, if applicable.\nDesired Qualifications:\nKnowledge of Foundry application development, including the design, configuration, integration, testing, and deployment of Foundry-based applications.\nFamiliarity with Foundry data-driven workflows, operational applications, dashboards, ontology-based data models, and user interfaces.\nExperience developing applications that use Foundry datasets, APIs, data services, or external system integrations.\nProfessional experience with React and Java.\nExperience developing custom web-based visualizations and data-driven user interfaces.\nExperience working in a Node.js development environment.\nExperience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and other web services.\nExperience integrating software with external systems and mission applications.\nExperience with one or more of the following database technologies: Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, other relational or NoSQL database management systems\nExperience with Git-based workflows, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.\nExperience with Agile or DevSecOps development methodologies.\nFamiliarity with software deployment, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.\nExperience supporting operational, tactical, cybersecurity, intelligence, or defense-related applications.\nUnderstanding of secure software development practices and application security principles.\nExperience with containerized applications, cloud platforms, automated testing, or infrastructure-as-code is a plus.\nAbility to develop clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Secret security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
