In this role you will get to learn from brilliant engineers and participate in all steps of the software engineering process.\n3 month and 6 month internships are available with flexible start/end dates.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nAnalyze requirements to determine feasibility of design\nEnsure the conversion of requirements, including informal ones, into total systems solutions that balance the technical, schedule, and cost constraints of the program\nParticipate in design and code reviews\nWrite real-time/stream/batch processing software\nDevelop scalable, web-based data visualization and analytic platforms using Java, Spring, servlets, Extract Transform Load (ETL) pipelines, microservices, message brokers, and scalable databases (Hadoop, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL)\nLearn front-end programming with TypeScript, Angular, and/or React.\nBuild and deploy software using Python, Gradle, Docker, Vagrant, Ansible, Maven, and/or Bash.\nRequired Qualifications:\nActive TS/SCI clearance\nQualified candidate must be in progress of obtaining a BS degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline. (A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.)\nExperience working in a Linux development environment\n What Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nKnowledge of networking concepts including the OSI model, creating/maintaining computer networks, and analyzing network artifacts.\nDeployment experience with Ansible, Gradle, Docker, and/or Vagrant\nStructured Query Language (SQL) experience for example with MySQL or PostgreSQL\nNoSQL experience for example with Hadoop, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB\nSpring Boot, Tomcat, or Jakarta experience, especially with gRPC and REST\nGit experience\nScripting experience for example with Python, Bash, or Shell\nIn addition to back-end experience, front-end (full-stack) development experience with:Angular and/or React\nPatternFly, Clarity, and/or Material-UI\n\nSecurity Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
