Parsons is seeking an entry-level engineer with aTop Secret clearance to join our agile, tight-knit development team. In this role, you’ll work directly with experts in Computer Network Defense (CND) and Computer Network Operations (CNO) to design and develop tools and systems that drive mission-critical operations into the future.\nThis is your opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders, develop innovative solutions, and grow your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nAs an Associate level Software Engineer/Developer, your responsibilities will include:\nCollaborating with CND and CNO experts to design and develop tools and systems that support mission objectives.\nDesigning and coding software components, units, and modules to meet product specifications and development schedules.\nParticipating in an agile development team to deliver high-quality solutions.\nLearning and applying new technologies to solve complex problems.\nRequired Skills:\nTo succeed in this role, you will need:\nClearance:Active Top Secret or higher security clearance, which requires US citizenship\nEducation : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or a related discipline (experience may be considered in lieu of a degree) and 0-2 years of professional related experience\nDesired Skills:\nWhile not required, the following skills are highly desirable:\nOperating Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with Windows XP/7/8/10/Server and macOS.\nEmbedded Systems: Knowledge of VxWorks, Linux, or other embedded systems.\n Testing Experience: Experience performing unit testing and working with formal testing methodologies (e.g., test plan and procedure generation).\nProgramming Languages: Proficiency in C, C++, Java, and web programming.\n Software Design: Knowledge of software design patterns and object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD).\nLearning Ability: Strong ability to grasp new technologies and acquire new skills through independent study, professional training, and collaboration with team members.\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
