In this role you will get to work alongside hardware and software engineers developing ground-based directed energy systems.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nDevelop software that supports ground-based directed energy systems, working alongside experienced software and hardware engineers.\nCollaborate with hardware engineers, technicians, and field support representatives to understand requirements and solve technical challenges.\nParticipate in design reviews, sprint planning, code reviews, and other team activities.\nWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using software engineering best practices.\nTest and debug software, investigate issues, and help improve reliability and performance.\nLearn the team's development tools and workflows while contributing to hands-on engineering projects.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nPursuing a degree in one of the following disciplines: computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or software engineering.\nMajor GPA greater than 3.0.\nMust be a US citizen.\nAbility to work well in a team as well as independently.\nExperience with one or more programming languages (C, C++, C#, Java, Python, Rust, etc...).\nThe desire to learn in a hands-on environment.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nExperience with software version control tools, preferably git.\nExperience working in an agile environment.\nAn understanding of object-oriented design principles and applying them to develop reliable and maintainable software.\nSecurity Clearance Requirement:\nNoneThis position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
