Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Sr. Scheduler to join our team! In this role you will get to work on projects at the busiest airport in the world.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nMaintain an operating awareness of all contract issues and ATLNext participants.\nClearly identify the critical path on project schedules and prepare weekly/monthly reports on the critical activities and contractual milestones.\nCollect accurate schedule data from the contractors/other project schedules and prepare Management, Project and Control level schedules for senior management.\nMaintain and update the schedules and report on performance against the plan.\nIdentify issues, conflicts and potential impacts and recommend alternative schedule solutions in association with the management team, to resolve schedule problems and conflicts.\nReview and assess contractors’ schedules for compliance with contract milestones and constraints. \nPerform field verification of schedule information.\nAttend project meetings and advise the Area Construction Manager (ACM) / Resident Engineer (RE) / Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) of any potential issues or impacts prior to project meetings.\nWhen required, assist contractors in developing, revising, and finalizing their detail schedule to be in compliance with the contract documents.\nAssist in the evaluation of potential time impact of contract change orders.\nCoordinate with the project team to develop constructability reviews.\nDevelop schedule forensic analysis.\nOther tasks as may be assigned.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nUniversity degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).\nProficient PC skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook).\nWorking knowledge of Primavera P6.\nWorking knowledge of PMWeb or other Project Controls Software.\nExcellent communication and organizational skills.\nExcellent priority management and time management skills.\nSound judgment, reasoning, and analytical skills.\nAbility to quickly understand construction principles as well as contractors’ means and methods.\nAbility to self-start and work without close supervision, understanding what needs to be done and taking the required actions to complete the urgent tasks. \n What Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nSafety training (minimum OSHA 10-Hour) is preferred.\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nNoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
