Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Sr Subcontract Administrator to join our team!\nRemote role. Preferred located in Northern Virginia.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nPrepares recommended source lists of qualified subcontractors, drawing upon their past performance experience. Coordinates the list with project management and client recommendations. \nPrepares Request for Proposal form and verifies accuracy and completeness of proposal packages. Interfaces with affected sections to clarify and ensure that all necessary data has been included. \nReceives subcontractors' responses to requests for proposals, determines each subcontractor's ability to meet Company and project requirements, and negotiates the terms and conditions. Prepares and issues contracts commensurate with delegated procurement authority. \nPrepares subcontract documents and amendments, including identification and inclusion of flowdown requirements from the prime contract. Ensures that terms and conditions will be appropriate. \nPrepares reports and contractual correspondence for project management and client. Establishes and maintains accurate tracking records tailored to each subcontract. \nMaintains and updates subcontractors' files to include records of payment. \nPerforms subcontract closeout actions, completes file documentation, and forwards subcontract files to storage. Ensures retention of hard copy of reports and claims for seven years. \nMay provide technical guidance to lower-level Subcontract Administrators. May make assignments and review completed work. \nServes as liaison between subcontractor and procurement personnel. \nPerforms other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or related field)\n5+ years of related work experience involving typical subcontracting activities \nUS Citizen\nAbility to communicate effectively with internal and external customers\nStrong organizational and workflow skills and required\nMust be able to adapt to and be a positive agent for change\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nProficiency using MS Office products\nDevelopment of overall understanding of procurement principles and concepts, including, but not limited to, solicitation of proposals, proposal analysis, award and administration of subcontracts, and closeout procedures associated with cradle to grave procurement responsibilities\nPreferences:\nDefense Industry experience\nSupply Chain Management Degree\nCostpoint or other similar financial systems used to execute agreements\nKnowledge of purchasing practices in the technical engineering labor subcontracts industry, excellent communication skills, and demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Cost Point Procurement systems is preferred\nExperience managing IDIQ/TO (task orders)\nConstruction subcontracting experience\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nNoneThis position is part of our Corporate team.For over 80 years, Parsons Corporation, has shaped the future of the defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure markets.
